To Cyril, magic is more than just entertainment, and his aim is to use magic to inject motivation and inspiration into his audience’s daily lives.
Fascinated with magic as a small boy, Cyril became a junior member of the “Magic Castle”, an internationally respected magic authority located in Hollywood.
Cyril was quickly labeled the world’s first “Cyber-Magician” as he gained international popularity by becoming the most downloaded magician on the internet. This status was cemented at the 39th Annual Academy of Magical Arts Awards in 2007,also known as the “Academy Awards of Magic.” That year, Cyril was voted “Magician of the Year”, thereby aligning himself with icons such as David Copperfield and Siegfriend & Roy. He pioneered “street magic”, a new style of magic entertainment.
In the year 2008, Cyril has traveled to more than 35 cities throughout Japan performing his live shows to audiences. In February 2009, he filmed his 15th Japanese primetime television special for a leading Japanese broadcaster, Fuji TV. The special was among the highest rated in the evening.
In 2009, Cyril tied up with AXN Asia to bring his unique style of magic to Asia. The 3 part series is titled Cyril: Simply Magic.
His mysterious persona, fusing with his down-to-earth personality makes him especially charismatic and appealing!

wow!it’s really magic watching cyril perform! his magic are simple but tickles your mind. i’ve watched also some of his videos on you tube but sad to say i can’t understand the voice over because i don’t know nippongo. please have english translations on his videos. thanks!

to cyril=how to be a magician?can you help?
I’m a huge fan of Cyril. However I would like to straighten out some facts.
Firstly the pioneer of the street magic genre is David Blaine, not Cyril.
However it was Cyril who took street magic up a notch. Unlike Criss Angel who attempts grand stage illusions on the street. Cyril’s brand of street magic uses everyday objects in which he comes across while performing on the streets which makes him so special.

to all cyril’s fans out there…… check this out. now is 11th of july, at exactly 10.50 am… im watching Cyril…simply magic in AXN. He is in the Singapore Flyer, doing his act using a mobile phone. Here is the instruction,you are going to think one of your lucky number and there is no chance that he will know what is it. So out of curiosity, i did. I think #9 as my lucky # and follow his intruction Eliminating the star and the husk, u should only use the numbers on the key pad. He says, put your finger on #1 and spell the word ONE on each number. So wherever number your finger landed, you should do same thing. and when he said stop your finger on that number, i did. And he took a photo of one of the building on his background….. and ….my gosh… i was in shock because the # that appears on the bulidingis the same # that i had on my finger. Its not only simlpy magic, but it is really simlpy Amazing.
