Nique is a professional multi-award winning magician, specializing in presenting sleight of hand magic to his audiences. Many in the local magic scene consider Nique one of Singapore’s leading close up magicians.

At just a tender of age 18, Nique was the champion of IBM’s card magic competition. He then went on to compete and win numerous awards both internationally and locally. Nique also shares his knowledge with the magic community and is the author of many high quality books such as “Working the Crowd” & “TECHniques”.

Not known to many however, Nique ACTUALLY does kids magic and has a full scale professional kids party show to boot!

Despite his commitments in magic, Nique is also part of a popular band J3. J3was a finalist in Channel U’s Superband competition in 2006.

Now considered one of the leading close-up magician in Singapore, he has branched out into being a mentalist and presently can be seen at magic competitions as one of the judges giving feedback to aspiring new magicians!

Sean Taylor started his magical journey at the age of 6, where he got his first magic kit. His passion continued on while he was a kid when he was mentored by a semi-professional magician who passed on all his knowledge in magic to him.

Sean paid he way through university by performing magic and even managed to earn enough to purchase his first car and his own home by the age of 21.

Since then he has never looked back.

At the present moment, he has been across 15 countries performing for over 25 years. Sean is the only magician/performer in Australia who is a “Gold Star Member” in The Inner Magic Circle. He has performed in many venues across the globe, notably The Loews Hotel in Monte Carlo, The London Hilton, The Sydney Opera House, and London’s famous Magic Circle, made more than 20 TV appearances and has even read minds LIVE on Radio!

At the age of only 27, Kiki Tay is already the director of 3 different companies and was nominated for the “Spirit of Entreprise” award back in 2007. He also writes, directs and produces numerous comedy productions and magic shows for corporate events and theatres. Kiki’s featured works includes “Just Kiki Kidding”, an annual theatrical production featuring extreme comedy and magic, as well as “Waah! Magic!”, a comedy magic show for the entire family.

He is a regular magic and special effects consultant for Mediacorp TV, as well as numerous major theatre productions. His theatrical and television credits are aplenty with Wildrice’s ” Oi! Sleeping Beauty” and Channel 8′s “Star Awards 2009″ to name a few. Zoe Tay, Gurmit Singh, Mark Lee and Felicia Chin are also some of the local celebrities that he has taught magic to.

He has been chosen to choreograph a 250-dancers magical mass-display item in the 1st Asian Youth Games Opening Ceremony in Singapore this year ( 2009), following a successful partnership with choreographer Dan Kwoh in the Singapore Youth Festival’s Opening mass-display item held in the Singapore Indoor Stadium back in 2008.

He is one of the busiest and highest sought after corporate magician/entertainer in Singapore, entertaining audiences at over 200 events a year. He has performed all over the world and in front of dignitaries such as the president of Singapore, prime minister and even the royal family of Brunei.

Mr John Teo is currently the president of the IBM Singapore 115 and he has been a member of IBM since 1981. He was conferred the Order of Merlin having been in the organization for 25 consecutive years. That was in 2006 and John is still going strong!

Despite being a part-time magician, John is presently a free-lance trainer and consultant.  He is also very active in the local magic scene. From holding the position of president in IBM Singapore to making public magic performances such as Magic Day, John has definitely applied the principles of magic to everything he does.

He creatively uses magic in his management training workshops to effectively bring out important learning points for his participants in a fun way. As much as he does all forms of magic from gospel magic to children’s parties, his favourite category of magic and probably his strongest would be mentalism.

He is frequently invited to judge international magic competitions held in Asia; John’s in-depth knowledge and performance of magic is well respected by magicians internationally.

John is also interested in the creation aspect of magic. He has also written articles on magic and competed in various competitions generating several original magic effects.. With over thirty years of performing experience behind him, Anslem Roy heralds as one of the pioneers in the arena of Magic and Illusion in the Asia Pacific region.

He is the President of the International Magicians’ Society (IMS) – Malaysian Chapter, an appointment he received in 2001. IMS is recognised by the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s largest magic club.

He has made countless television and radio appearances both nationally and globally. Notably, he was featured on The Discovery Channel’s and The Learning Channel’s ‘Science of Magic’, ‘World’s Greatest Magicians’. He was responsible for vanishing the London tower bridge in BBC’s ‘History of Magic’ ,the disapperance of the ‘Sphinx’ for FOX television and starred in ‘ Masters of Magic’.

He is also a proud recipient of the International Merlin Award. This prestigious award is equivalent of receiving an Oscar at the Academy Awards. This coveted title was conferred on Anslem Roy by the board of directors of the world headquarters of the IMS in New York, for ” Most Original Magic” under the artistic category. Most people know Tony Hassini as the founder of (International Magicians Society),  IMS for short. Tony founded the IMS in July 1968, and its members have since ballooned into a stunning 37,000 members! It is recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest magic society and it is still growing day by day!

IMS also awards the prestigious Merlin Award each year, the Merlin award, which is the Oscars of Magic, recognises  extremely gifted magicians each year. Its receipients to date includes David Copperfield, Pen and Teller, Criss Angel, Tabary, Jeff Mcbride, Rocco, Bill Malone to name a few.

As a young child with a hearing impairment and a learning disability called dyslexia, Tony left his home at a tender age of 16 to London. Unable to speak a word of English and he was washing dishes to eke out a living, he came across a magic store which started his magical journey that would change his life forever.

He then went on to countries like Poland, Germany, France, Sweden, North America, South America, Asia and so on to perform and to promote the art of magic.

He is also the Chairman and CEO of Distron Video Corporation, and has been an innovator on the leading edge of excellence in film, video, and DVD productions since 1973. He is also one of the brains behind the famous campaign “The Marvelous Magical Burger King” for the fast food chain giant Burger King.

Jeremy Pei and his famous Linking Rings!

Name: Jeremy Pei Bing Xian

At the age of 24 Jeremy has won numerous international and local magic awards such as being the magician of the year for two consecutive years. He was also the secretary of the Singapore Association of Magicians and has been featured on various national television programs in Japan and Taiwan. He is also a consultant to many up and coming magicians and supervised television shows locally too.

He has a whole line of products released to the magicians community. The products include the Redefine Magic series of , Redefine Rings, Eternal Ropes, Powerful Rope Magic, Ultimate Fire Gimmick (UFG), and the latest, Ultimate fire magic DVD.

Jeremy is a highly versatile performer, being well versed not only in magic technicalities, but also juggling, miming dance and ventroliquism, and even fire breathing! This is evident in his fluid stage presence in which he never fails to dazzle his audiences and leave them wanting more!

Jeremy started magic when he was a mere 4 year old! Inspired by his father, who was also a magician. He started doing magic shows and gigs at a tender age of 12!! Jeremy is the First and Only Magician in Singapore’s history to win the Singapore Association of Magicians “Magician of the Year” Award for 3 consecutive years!

To everyone’s surprise, Jeremy is also the Country Manager for Fantasma Magic Toys USA. They are being sold at all Toys ‘R’ Us stores island-wide in Singapore.

The most famous words that Lee Asher use to describe his own magic experience on his website, seminars and books!

Lee Asher have been performing magic for over 20 years now, since he was a child. In fact his father was a sleight of hand master and he was born in family exposed to magic at a young age.

Most notable for his invention of the Asher Twist, a sleight of hand cum trick which made him internationally famous at the age of 15!! Other inventions include Witness, Diving Board Double, Thunderbird just to name a few.

Currently, he is carrying his own magic label under his site www.LeeAsher.com and also working with Theory11 to bring us many high quality products.

He was hired to work at Caesars Magical Empire in Caesars Palace performing card magic, from 1996 to 1997. He worked with world famous magicians like Earl Nelson, Jeff McBride, Chappy Brazil, Joey Burton, Daryl, Michael Ammar, Jonathan Pendragon, and many more.

He is also a guest magician in the Sorcerers Safari Magic Camp, created by Mike Segal, who trains young aspiring magician to develop their passion for the art.

Lee Asher is also a staunch believer in giving credit when it is due. He always makes the extra effort to know the history behind the tricks and sleights and always gives them credit. He never fails to amaze people with his vast knowledge on the history of magic, and serves as a source of information to many beginners and professionals alike.
