Timothy Leow

Timothy co-founded Red Dot Magic with his friend, Godwin Tan in September 2008, at the age of 17. He specializes in close up magic for corporate clients and private parties. Timothy brings you on an adventure – amazing you with his magic and charming you with his personality. He represents a new breed of magicians: youthful, passionate with a 100% satisfaction guarantee! Timothy is currently an undergraduate at the National University of Singapore in the Business Faculty. When he is not dabbling in magic, he spends his time tutoring, finding outrageous exercise programs, goes for toastmaster meetings, and keeping his eye on potential business opportunities.

Godwin Tan

Godwin co-founded Red Dot Magic with Timothy in September 2008 amidst a Geography lecture in junior college. He is a magic entertainer and specializes in close-up magic that is simple yet visually appealing and entertaining, leveraging on his proficiency in languages and communication. To date, he has entertained clients ranging from corporate entities such as Creative Technology & IBM to charitable organizations like the Chinese Development Assistance Council of Singapore. He is currently an undergraduate at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Matthew Lee

Matthew Lee is a Close-up Magician in Singapore who is a versatile performer specializing in corporate audiences. He is an interactive and a highly skilled performer who leaves his audiences amazed and entertained. What differentiates this close-up artist from any other performer is that the magic he does happens in the audience’s hands. Matthew has performing professionally for 3 years and has performed for corporate events, weddings and dozens of charity events. He was also the resident Close-up Magician for the critically acclaimed “Ultimate Magic” @ The Arena in Clarke Quay during its one year run. Matthew was the winner of the People’s Choice award during the Legerdemain 2010 magic competition. Besides magic, Matthew also freelances as a designer and is currently Red Dot Magic’s resident creative mojo.

James Quek

James started dabbling in magic in year 2005 and found himself entranced by this mysterious realm of art. Since then, he has become a magic hobbyist, constantly keeping up with the latest updates in the magic scene. Amongst the array of magic acts he has come across, closed-up (sleight of hand) entertainment involving cards and coins remains his personal favorite. Currently, James “marries” his two favorite hobbies – photography and magic – as he is the resident photographer for Red Dot Magic. Being the most sociable person on the team, James is also responsible for updating and maintaining RDM’s facebook, twitter and flickr profiles.

Jasper Lee

In 2010, Jasper was crowned the Champion of Legerdemain’s Close Up Magic Competition. This led him to various performing  opportunities in major entertainment hubs in Singapore. Currently, he is an active member within the Singapore Magic Circle & amongst the International Brotherhood of Magicians. The art of conjuring came to him in his teens. His study in Media & Communications has given him good practise as a communicator. He has often been described as an eloquent and creative performer. While secrets are widely considered to be the lifeblood of magic, far beyond the methods, Jasper strongly believes that the real secret behind good magic lies in a performer’s ability to entertain, to excite and to create an unforgettable experience of genuine drama, fun and enchantment.
