“INVERSION” – Magic Babe Ning to attempt a blindfolded escape while hanged upside down!

Sunday, 21 Jun 2009 will mark Magic Babe Ning’s “INVERSION” escape. It is a one-off version of her signature “Straight Jacket Striptease” but while blindfolded and suspended upside down 3 stories off the ground! The “Inversion” escape is a promotional effort prior to the mega magic event, ” The Impossible Record”.

Note that no safety line or safety devices will be employed for the actual escape.  Any mistake could lead to a fatal fall. Typically, escapes of this nature will utilize some form of fail-safes or safety devices that are either used openly or covertly.

Ning is no stranger to extreme escape acts. Last year, she became the first female magician in South East Asia to perform a mega escape, ” The Impalement Cage”.

In full-view of a surrounded audience of 4000 people, she picked her way through handcuffs, locks, shackles and chains to free herself from a steel cage with a bed of 13 stainless steel spikes, timed to crash down on her in 90 seconds.

‘Magic Babe’ Ning’s “Inversion”, the blindfolded upside down straight jacket escape, takes place on 21st June 2009, Sunday, at 6pm at Central (retail mall located at Clarke Quay MRT).
